Galway to Inisheer and the Cliffs of Moher, with Wild Atlantic Way drive, ferry time on the island, and a weather-based boat under the cliffs.

“Our tour driver, Pavel, was friendly and knowledgeable. He gave perfect instructions and took care of us all day. He was a safe and conscientious driver. No one was ever left behind. The ferry was comfortable and the crew was helpful and answered all questions. The tour, by small vehicle, of the Aran Island was wonderful. Our driver/guide, Stefan, was the best. Very humorous and informative. He was lovely. The tour of the island and the staff at the hotel pup provided a good meal accompanied by efficient and kind service. The Cliffs were an awesome sight. Seeing them from, both, the ferry, and the ground at the park, is…”

“This was a great tour and experience. Was great to get to see the cliffs from the sea! Our guide Shawn was great. He was very knowledgeable and gave us a lot of insight into the country and this area. There are lots of options for tours and I’m so glad we went with the one going to rhe Aran Islands. YOU MUST go the horse drawn carriage ride on Ishineer island. They are given by locals who love on the island and the experience of learning from the locals is so important! Highly recommend for couples, families or even solo travelers.”

Aran Islands Scenic Flight and Galway Rail Tour from Dublin

12.Aran Islands Scenic Flight and Galway Rail Tour from Dublin

Dublin rail to Galway, then a scenic flight to Inis Mor for fort views, quick stops on Aran, and free time in Galway City.

“My recommendation is based on the history and beauty of the island only. I wouldn't go by rail as we were escorted all the way from Dublin to Galway on the train, which was not needed. It was just Mum and I and another couple of ladies who were doing another tour. This also happened on our return journey to Dublin. My recommendation during the winter months is not to provide the escort, as we are all adults and can find our seats, as per the package provided to us in Dublin for our day trip. Once in Galway we were offloaded to a transfer bus to the airport for…”

Bike Inisheer from Galway with ferry, guided ruins tour, and homemade scones and tea, plus Doolin pub time and Burren stories.

“What an incredible day! Phil picked us up from an easily visible bright orange van in Galway and we felt like we had a full tour within a tour just on the ride to Doolin. He was extremely knowledgeable and charismatic, seamlessly got us to Inisheer and we had a lovely bike tour of the island. It is a hilly island so would only recommend if you are relatively comfortable on a bike (though there are e-bikes available as well). The coffee and scones (with fresh whipped heavy cream o m g) were amazing after the bike ride and it was the perfect length of time for a day trip.…”

Galway day trip with guided visits to the Burren, Inisheer, and the Cliffs of Moher, including a boat cruise below the cliffs.

“Our flight arrived 30 minutes late so we message the operator that we were going to be a couple minutes late. We got there at 9:02am for a 9:00am tour and the tour guide told us that our bus had left and he never got my message. After explaining the situation, he said our only other option is this other tour which involved extensive hiking but since we had a toddler with us and am 4 months, we weren’t able to commit to that tour. After requesting to the guide, he let us wait and see if there is room for 2 more on the 9:30 tour. After waiting for…”
